Country Rock Singer Art Mulcahy Releases Official Music Video for Debut Single “Together We Survive”

(DailyMusicRole Editorial): – Los Angeles, CA, May 6, 2021 ( – Art Mulcahy is releasing his first single “Together We Survive” with an official music video release on May 1, 2021. The single, as so than a full album, was produced and mixed by Jonathan Smith [a.k.a. TheRealJonSmith], for Native South Records. The video was shot in Los Angeles, California at Revolver Studios and was produced by Christian Siebert and OJ Aguilar of Eisley Creative Co.

Mulcahy, a former Marine, originally wrote the song about the Las Vegas shooting at Mandalay Bay. “I felt so helpless and heartbroken watching the shoot on TV [at the Las Vegas Jason Aldean concert]… I was not there to protect people, ”reflects Art.

“When it came time to make the video for ‘Together We Survive’, I wanted to pay tribute to my brothers whom I served in the military. They were like family to me “said Art”, looking into the distance. The opening scene of the video revisits Art’s time in the military and the loss of lives he experienced around him. Art says, “with this song [“Together We Survive”], I just want the world to pull themselves together when times get tough and realize that we are all one big family and much stronger together ”.

“I really feel blessed to have such a great team to work with. My producer, TheRealJonSmith, and Native South Records label brought in a bunch of talented people to work on the album and music video. Grammy-winning bassist Victor Broden performed bass on the album, with TheRealJonSmith on drums and Jake Parshall on guitar. Victor, Jonathan and his friend Topher Sean are featured in the video. Additionally, Christian Siebert and OJ Aguilar of Eisley Creative Co. directed the video. The clip was co-produced by TheRealJonSmith, production assistant Ieva Georges, and executive produced by AJ Shutte.

“Thunder Road” is set to be the next single from the upcoming album titled “How My Country Sounds”, on Native South Records [ ].
