Ted Nugent made a parcel headlines recently, and not in a good way. More recently he criticized Rolling stone Magazine for including Joan Jett in her “100 Greatest Guitarists” list during a live YouTube broadcast on January 30. You can check out the video below.
Nugent started off by congratulating Angus Young (AC / DC), Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Neal Schon (Journey), Joe Bonamassa, Derek St. Holmes, Tommy Shaw (Styx) and Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd). He then says, “So I just mentioned some monster, killer guitarists, eh?” Some of the best that ever existed. But when you see the Rolling stone magazine’s list of greatest guitarists, they list Joan Jett but not Tommy Shaw “(as transcribed by Blabbermouth).
“How do you list the top 100 guitarists and not list Derek St. Holmes?” ” He continued. “How do you do that? You do that by lying. The same way you get Grandmaster Flash in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You do it by lying. You have to be a liar. You have to be a soulless asshole. and soulless to put Joan Jett … [I] loves Jeanne. Some of my best memories include lesbians. I like lesbians; it is a cocktail of wonder.
“By the way, if Grandmaster Flash is in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and Joan Jett is on the Top 100 list for guitarists, then I’m Caitlyn Jenner’s toy,” he adds.

In November, Nugent also said he wanted to give Kyle Rittenhouse a lifetime supply of ammunition and start a gun training course on his behalf. That same month, he also published a rallying cry for guns titled “Come and take it”.
